Build a land identity and a mermaid identity that both survive a Rikki's shift.
Mermaid Awakening is filed under Roleplay & Avatar Sim / Dress Up for a reason. The “players” on this wiki are not a gacha roster. They are you — human on the Gold Coast, mermaid on the way to Mako. This hub splits that closet into customization and VIP so you do not buy the wrong layer. If you still need a yes/no on whether to favourite the place, read the launch review.
Official promo shots are a better style guide than a random Brookhaven mermaid kit:
- Lifeguard red-cross tank on the beach cabanas.
- Denim fishing look outside Fresh Catch.
- Black Rikki’s tank with a drink on the cafe ramp.
Those are land uniforms. Tails are a second silhouette. If you only build a tail, you will look unfinished at work. If you only build a land fit, you will look like a tourist on Mako Island.
Two closets, one account
- Land closet — jobs, codes, Fish Shop counter, cabana photos. Shoes, shorts, bags, drinks.
- Mermaid closet — fluke, hip scales, hair that still reads underwater. No heels. See become a mermaid.
VIP clothing sits on top of both as a paid (or coin-bought) layer plus an overhead tag. Pearl Luxury is a princess set with heels and a necklace — heels are land-only.
What this hub will not do
We will not publish a 200-row tail catalogue copied from Mermaid Isle. This game is a morph RP with a live customization panel, not a 500-tail gacha. When the team adds named tail sets, they will get rows here. Until then, the work is: readable colours, job-appropriate land fits, and not spending 699 Robux before you have finished the beginner guide.
How this hub connects to the rest of the wiki
A closet without coins is a moodboard. After you lock a land fit, go earn it on the jobs guide. After you lock a tail, test it with water, fire, and ice so the VFX does not clip through a black fluke. After you decide you want a nametag, read VIP instead of buying x2 Money by mistake.
New players should not start here. Start on Getting Started, spawn, then come back with a screenshot of the in-game closet. We will not rank 500 fictional tails. We will tell you which official promo silhouette matches which Gold Coast loop.
If a friend sends a secret rainbow tail code, that is a codes problem, not a closet problem. Codes at launch are a like-goal coin drop, not a morph unlock.
