Two live badges, one of them still under 0.2% — how to earn them without a fake list.
Mermaid Awakening shipped with a tiny badge board. That is useful. A week-old mermaid roleplay that publishes twenty fake “secret” badges is usually copying another ocean game. This title has two universe badges, both created on 28 August 2026, the day before the public [RELEASE] window. If a TikTok overlay shows a third icon, it is either new (check the live Roblox badge page) or it belongs to Mermaid Isle.
This page is the board. The fishing guide is the grind. The launch notes are the ship list. Do not treat a participation badge as a skill check, and do not treat the fish badge as a coin printer.

No other badges were listed on universe 10152913434 at this snapshot. Past-day awards on the join badge were still in the six figures. Past-day awards on the fish badge were about a hundred. The gap is the whole story: almost everyone who loads the Gold Coast gets the first icon. Almost nobody finishes the log.
How to see your badges
- Open Mermaid Awakening on Roblox.
- Open the experience’s Badges tab, or your inventory → Badges, and filter to this game.
- Confirm the place ID is
79056756711551. Liking or joining Mermaid Lagoon will not grant these two.
The join badge should fire on a clean first session. If it does not, you loaded a lookalike, you are on a studio test copy, or Roblox delayed the grant. Rejoin once. Do not buy VIP to “unlock badges.” Passes do not grant them.
You played Mermaid Awakening!
This is a participation stamp. It exists so the universe can thank people who actually joined the [RELEASE] build. It is not a secret, not a moon ritual, and not gated on likes. Walk in, spawn on the Gold Coast, wait a few seconds. If friends still lack it, they are on the wrong mermaid game.
Use it as a sanity check when you send a link. If your friend has the join badge and you do not, you pasted the wrong URL. If both of you have it and neither can transform, that is a controls or mermaid form problem, not a missing third badge.
Caught all fish!
This is the collector’s badge. The official art for the loop is the Fresh Catch Fish Shop screenshot: denim, a rod, a wrapped fish, mountains behind the roof. The shop is the log. The water is the work.
What we will not do on this page: invent a 40-name species table. The live UI is the only legal list. Screenshot the board at Fresh Catch in land form, fish the coast, then Mako Island water if the log stalls. Bank or turn in before you hop — launch notes already warn that inventory can desync.
Why the 0.2% rate exists:
- Completion wants every named species, not a high score.
- Some fish likely sit in different water (beach vs Mako vs a canal by Rikki’s).
- Bites freeze on dead 20-player servers. Rejoin before you assume a mythic is missing.
- x2 Money doubles earnings, not catch tables. VIP and Pearl Luxury do nothing for fish.
Read the fishing guide for the session setup. Come back here only to confirm the badge name and the award count. If the badge pops and the log still looks empty, that is a desync — rejoin before you grind a shark you already caught.
What is not a badge
- The 5,000-like coin code is a description promise, not a badge. Track it on the like-goal page. Likes sat at 4,884 against 267 downvotes on 5 September 2026.
- Tail unlocks and customization panels are closet items, not badges.
- Hidden places, ruins, and moonlit coves are exploration, not badge rows — unless the team adds a third icon later.

If a third badge appears
Check the Roblox badge API / the experience Badges tab, not a leaked Google Sheet. Note the created timestamp. If it is dated after 28 August 2026 and the awarding universe is still 10152913434, it is real. Then this page gets a third row. Until that happens, a screenshot from Fisch, Dive Down, or Mermaid Isle is noise.

New players: get the join badge by accident while following Getting Started. Earn coins at Rikki’s so Fresh Catch is not a dry counter. Transform when you need Mako water. Hunt hidden places for flavour, not for a missing icon. Spend Robux only after you know whether you are a dresser or a completionist — the pass list ranks VIP and x2 Money, neither of which is a badge skip.
The join badge is a hello. The fish badge is a weekend. There is no third hello. Play the Gold Coast that is actually on the listing.
